About Me
I'm Jc Espina — a Computer Science student who got here by taking things apart. I build for the web: mostly React and Next.js on the front, TypeScript throughout, and whatever the backend needs to actually hold up.
What follows is the short version — where I started, what I'm looking for, where I'm headed, and what I'm doing when I'm not at a keyboard.
Building for the web
I'm Jc Espina, a Computer Science student with a passion for building modern, user-friendly web applications. Throughout my studies, I've developed strong foundations in full-stack development, focusing on creating efficient and scalable solutions.
It started with curiosity about how the sites I used every day were actually put together. Taking them apart taught me more than any tutorial did, and somewhere between the first page that rendered and the first bug I chased for hours, building things on the web stopped being a class requirement and became the thing I wanted to get good at.

I believe in continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies. My goal is to contribute to meaningful projects while growing as a developer and building solutions that make a positive impact.
Away from the screen
When I'm not at the computer, you'll probably find me walking—no destination, just moving. There's something about the rhythm and quiet that clears my mind—very often, that's when the solution to a bug I've been stuck on suddenly clicks.
Walking has taught me that progress doesn't always look like forward motion. Sometimes you need to wander, take the long route, or pause at a crossroads. The journey matters as much as the destination, in code and in life.
